when does the colour of our outpost change from brown to grey?

i got all towers and gate upgraded but still the colour is brown.

did you upgrade them to level 3? Maybe you forgot one tower spot thats hidden behind a building...

You need to have keep levelled up to 3, have walls level 3 and have all towers level 3
