All of the prime time bonuses are only available during random times. Here are all of the bonuses:

• +25%: this bonus allows players to gain an extra 25% of any rubies they buy during this 90 minute special period. For instance, buy 2500 rubies and receive 3125 (an extra 625). This is, arguably, the worst prime time bonus.
• +50%: this bonus, like the one above, allows players to gain more rubies when they buy them, during the 1 and a half hours the bonus is available for. However, you get an extra half - buy 2500 and get 3750 (another 1250).
• +75: a continuation of the other bonuses, but with three-quarters being the free amount. If you buy 2500 rubies within the 5400 seconds that the bonus lasts for, then you will get 4375 rubies (1875 for free).
• +100%: the final bonus of its kind. Doubling your rubies bought, this is undeniably better than the previous three offers, and means that even if you only buy 2500 rubies (within the 90 minutes time limit), you will gain 2500 and end up with 5000.
• -50%: this unique bonus, lasting, again, for an hour and a half, allows players to gain things purchased for rubies at half price. A bakery (level 1) would only cost 625 rubies (instead of 1250, saving 625) during this offer. Alliance purchases are excluded from this deal. Please note that this bonus is also awarded to players for 24 hours, for "being loyal", although I am unsure of the exact requirements you need to get this loyalty bounus.
• Treasure chest: buy 31,000 rubies within the time limit (which is unknown, at least to me), and you will receive 300 travelling knight soldiers and 75 armourer tools. It is thought that there are different prices and rewards for lower level players. Note that you keep the 31,000 rubies - they are not spent on the soldiers/tools. This bonus has gotten a lot of "bad press", but I still think it is more worthwhile than at least the +25% ruby bounus.

I was thinking about getting a life at the start of the summer hols... but then the Thorn King came. :P

And my parents REALLY aren't helping me to become less of a geek, but I think I've come to terms with my "inner nerd".

I must say your comment is a little insulting considering all the hard work us CM's and mods put in here. If BobFighter was interested in a position here at GGS then he would be able to apply for it himself.

No one can send you rubies, because that is not possible

What tax?

Players are unable to send other players rubies due to the fact that if you could send them, people would bully others into getting rubies bought with real life money.

Some people who work for GGS are able to send rubies to players, but they only do this if the player has been a victim of a bug causing them to lose rubies/ruby buildings or, very rarely, as a form of compensation for another bug.

Please don't go off topic - if you have something new to say, make a new thread in the correct section after first doing a search to check if the topic has been talked about previously.

Rubies are quite easy to earn, even at a low level - I recommend that you complete some robber baron castle quests or some tower/extension quests.

I don't think that huzaifa memon was trying to be rude, whether or not that is how you conveyed his/her tone. I think huzaifa was just trying to compliment me. I do understand that CMs and mods put in a lot of hard work, but you and me do very different things, so it is hard to compare them - while you post announcements, work on bugs and actually work for GGS, I do a lot more posting, but most of my posts are merely answering questions and giving my opinion on new ideas.

And, by the way, I don't understand the logic behind quoting a post and then deleting it. You could have at least waited to see if huzaifa memon had anything to say to defend him/herself. I'm not trying to be rude, but I don't think you were very fair to memon.

EDIT: FYI, hazaifa memon, I have absolutely no interest in applying for a position at GGS.
