Once you have abandoned an outpost is there anyway to stop it? One of my guys abandoned his but wants to stop it. He has 20 hours left on the clock.
Thanks!
Thanks!

You can't stop it. Tell the alliance member to be more careful in the future - I believe there is at least 1 button which you have to click to confirm that you want to abandon the outpost.

Can anyone get there and capture it before the clock runs out? He could then capture it back.
Just an idea, having never captured an outpost i'm not sure if this would work.

Yeah but you need a friend with a free castellan relatively close by, because capture attacks are very slow.

Well doesn't really matter how close by as long as he makes it in under 20 hours

Exactly - the castellan is EXTREMELY slow (not complaining - I'm perfectly fine with that), and I would imagine that you have to be within 50 miles to get the attack there in 20 hours.
EDIT: I know that in-game distances aren't measured in miles, but they don't show any form of measurement, so I use miles because "within 50" is a bit vague - 50 what?

50 "units" of distance perhaps? ^_^

Seems a bit unimaginative, and could, again, be anything - "I've got 50 units" sounds like troops to me.
I've heard "50 clicks", but you can travel more than 1 distance per click-and-drag-the-mouse. Maybe just 50, but with extra bits - "50 north", "50 west" or "50 radius".

concerning "clicks" that is actually a measurement (an old one) that i think is the same distance as a kilometer, so it would make a lot of sense for the game (European = kilometer, medieval= click)

Thanks for bumping this 2 year old thread. Within 3 hours of abandoning your outpost you can cancel it. After that, you can't stop it. Have someone capture the outpost for you
