Go to the construction menu, on the last tab on the right you will see the "stored" Decorations, there you can click on the one stored and place it again on your castle...

By the way, when you complete adventure maps and gain decorative items (e.g. ancient relic, clever wives), they will also appear in the same section.
For some reason, you can also use the decorations from the decorations tab. Just go to the type of decoration you stored, and it will have "1" or however many are stored. Click on that deco, and place it somewhere, and it will automatically come out of storage. This doesn't work with anything that can't be built normally - flat earth, victory column, dragon's head etc.
