I want to capture the outpost of someone who's castle has fallen to ruins. I did an espionage and the results returned 50 armed citizens. When I clicked on the outpost and clicked capture, I put my soldiers into the battle and then I got to page where you choose your warhorse. But then it says underneath: Period of occupation 1 day. What does this mean? Please respond if you know the answer.

that means after the capture attack is succesful, you must wait 24 hours until the outpost is completely yours, so you must have at least 1 soldier in every moment in that outpost for an entire day, so you have to protect it from other player's attacks during that time, after the day is over the outpost is yours

remember all your soldiers in the capture attack will need food from your main castle, so be prepared, but you can send support soldiers from other of your castles [1385951]

what about all the buildings and the resources that the ememy build/ has before you capture the outpost? will you have to start from the beginning or will you just keep everything that he build

Some random buildings will go to rubble, when you capture another player's outpost, and some will burn

During the 24 hour occupation period do you get the benefit of the walls? I realize no tools are available, but are you afforded any protection from the walls already in place? Also does anyone know if the ruby buildings are part of the buildings that have a chance to turn to rubble?

I tried to capture a shiny outpost with 40 men. 36 of them got through the courtyard but they were wiped out inside the castle. Any tips about capturing an outpost?pls.

Use plenty of tools, and send at least 80 attack troops. Make sure you espionage the outpost first.

Attack every side of the outpost, they only have 20% of bonus sending tools is quite useless as mostly of them are in the courtyard (the farmers), the best is sending at least 50 attackers and sending them in the three sides.

50 if you're using heavies, at least 80 if their mace and crossbowman.

I remember capturing my Outposts with 25 macemen and 25 crossbow, you could try that maybe.

you would lose more than with 80, but yes 50 could work I guess.

Yes, but if you send too much soldiers you could run out of food if you are not online for example ^...^, if you are online during the time it takes you can send more army without worrying.

i took my shiney stone outpost with 17 men and no tools so i geuss it just depends on what ur sending and where u place them
