Topic: [76369] Loot Sacks and Banners are consumable or not?

So when I first got some loot sacks and banners (to increase my loot and glory respectively), I assumed that they would be consumed each time I use them. However I found the loot sacks were put back in my castle when my attackers returned.
'Excellent!' I thought, and I made a load more and kept using them. However I noticed that sometimes I had less loot sacks left in my castle after an attack than I thought I would, until today I realised that I had lost all the loot sacks in a recent attack.
Now every attack I used them in, my soldiers won the battle and came back, and the loot sacks were used in a wave that lost no soldiers. Typically no soldiers were lost in any part of the attack.
So are loot sacks and banners meant to be used up in a successful attack or not? I haven't got battle reports showing the loss of banners, but I suspect I should have more than I currently do.
I do have battle reports that show I used loot sacks in several of my battles, but they show up as a number in the 'Number of tools used on this flank' when they are not returned, and do not show up as a number when they are returned. In all cases it shows I have used the loot sacks when I click to investigate what tools I used:

War banners, Banners, Carts and Loot sacks, are supposed to be used in attacks and none of them should come back, when they return that means they weren't used in that battle

OK that would make sense, I've found another thread saying they are going to update the game to fix this problem! Cheers

Depends of the attack
