so a made a BIG MISTAKE! the new merauder event i was going to donate some food but clicked to use rubies!!! and used nearly all my rubies 2000+

It seems a few people have already done this today so they might decide to reimburse people. Up to GGS though.

Think very carefully about what you do whenever you see a ruby symbol. I personally wouldn't give rubies back if I was GGS - you got something for your rubies and in the end they want as much money as they can get. Just make the best of what you've got: pay the other resources, and enjoy the rewards. The marauders are fairly good and the loot sacks and carts are as good as they always have been.
I once accidentally recruited a third recruitment slot. (I had 5 HCB recruiting, and tried to recruit 5 2HS. When it didn't seem to do anything I tried it again and due to clicking in the wrong place at the wrong time, I clicked the green tick before I even saw the message asking me if I wanted a third slot.) I didn't complain - I just carried on with an extra 5 troops recruiting in each castle. 375 rubies was a bigger deal at that level, when I could only afford a tax collector bribe once a month. Anyway, the point is, it wasn't that bad. It's not like I was cheated out of anything, and it's not like you were either.

well i had the 80,000 food // in my cities put together. but i spent rubies!!! and i rather of spent it on the wood or stone one not FOOD!!! like my 2000+ rubies just thrown IN THE TRASH!! but i think they will give it back.

I also made big mistake I accidentally clicked on Rubies (wood) and lost 3402 rubies but I think it should warn that u r going to use rubies, like when u r going to Rent Additional Contraction Slot. Its hard to earn rubies for free players

You got 2000 rubies worth of stuff. 80K food for 2K ruby is the equivalent of 1 ruby for 40 food, which sounds pretty good to me.
I'm glad you're an optimist. I always assume the worst so I don't get disappointed, but in this case I really do doubt that they will give it back.
If they do give the rubies back, they will take away the food donated. So keep that food.

Sorry NicKor, but usage of rubies is considered as final. We cannot replace them for you or change them to the wood donation.

Every MMORPG does this - why do you think that I doubted that you would get rubies back? If don't want to play the game because you made a mistake and suddenly it's their fault, then I suggest you ask someone to lock you in a box for the rest of your life (and make sure they poke some holes so you can breathe).
If I accidentally donated £500 to charity by accident (tried to donate £500, clicked the button twice, and donated £1K instead - of course this is all hypothetical), would they give it back? I doubt it (and I probably wouldn't ask anyway - I'd feel a bit guilty).

Exactly the same happened to me! I used 9000 rubies on food hen I had the amount of food. Its because I have the bad habit of looking at new things (the amount of food I can donate right now in this case) while waiting for tax collector.

ehh that was joke that i wouldn't play anymore. its just almost 3000 hard earned rubies lost. i will get them back one way or another. ima go make a post to see how much rubies i can get with say $10.00 lol
