The best ruby bonus event is the one who gives 100% more of rubies, so if you use your head, you will earn the double of rubies you purchase during that time, but there are other good event, the prime action, that discount all the prices of the rubies in 50% so you can get anything by the half of its price

Not in months, but in a while...., instead they did the 50% prime action one

Unless you've been online 24/7 for months, then you can't possibly know if you're right. You might not have seen it in months, but it might have appeared last night while you were sleeping.
