my question is that if we run out of time so will the new king be there and attack us(i know that normal robber barons also attack us once a day) or it is just a story after the time expires?

After the time expires nothing else happens more than getting attacked by RBC's, if you win, you will get rid of the RBC's for "7" days, at least that is what they say

i really dont think its worth it unless you have less soldiers in main than outposts. I also heard that there were many bugs with it last time. im not taking the chance. I wish barbarian towers would hit you, then i would be filled with coins

If you spy and send the correct type of troops with a decent amount of tools you will always make a profit from the robber baron king. If you don't make a profit then you aren't planning attacks properly.
Remembers, this will only stop Robber Baron attacks in The Great Empire, not attacks in other Kingdoms.

If you spy and send the correct type of troops with a decent amount of tools you will always make a profit from the robber baron king. If you don't make a profit then you aren't planning attacks properly.
Remembers, this will only stop Robber Baron attacks in The Great Empire, not attacks in other Kingdoms.
Tell me where you can see other Robber Baron's apart from the Great Empire?, you mean NPC's of other kingdoms

Hi Jade, I didn't say that, I said "attacks" in other kingdoms, I didn't say they were robber barons.

I don't think it's a bug, maybe you just aren't planning properly. Do you have a report you could post here? We may be able to offer some advice.

If you cannot defeat it is not a bug, it is just that (sorry if it sound rude) you don't have any clue how to play the game, or you are sending wrong soldiers or tools, etc...

Nope. Not a bug. It is perfectly possible to win, if you have enough troops and the troops are strong enough in attack.
I won with just 185 veterans. I had 49 losses in the keep because I attacked both flanks. In retrospect, I should have sent more troops, but I got almost 19,000 coins which covers 63 of each veteran - more than double what I lost.
The troops haven't arrived home yet, but it seems to be working fine. The attack worked fine, I got the achievement and the right amount of troops are coming back with the right amount of loot.

I earned 50000 coins and only lost 20 out of 1040 soldiers from the level 60 RBC king, this is one of the most profitable events probably, so if you cannot do it, try it again with the right soldiers and tools

Ok, I have spied the castle 100% and the report was-
flank
2 spearmen,12 bowmen
spearmen
centre-2 spearmen
flank -20 spearmen and 16 bowmen
nothing in the keep.no tools.40 % bonus (wall and gate).
My attack-
left flank- 4 ladders and 20 macemen (max)
centre-29 crossbows ,10 maces and 21 bowwmen.
right flank- nothing
I think I should win.

Maybe we have different castles based on our level - the king for me had 149 troops.
It looks like the battle was very close, to me. You need to post exactly what happened. Did you win on the left flank? If so, how many losses? Did you win on the centre? If so, how many losses?
What was the exact layout? How many were on the left, the centre and the right? It just has the defenders jumbled up on your post - there was no proper layout.
If I had to guess, I would have said that you should have lost because you didn't counter the tools in the centre. The defenders in the middle had an 80% bonus - 40% from the wall AND 40% from the gate.

My Robber Baron King is level 57. I spied it twice with 100% and It has 190 troops. I am sending 539 troops with 92 tools. My army should arrive in just under 2 hours. Wish me luck!!

I sent the last of my non-veteran attackers, lost 46 and gained 33,000 gold and 10,000 resources. I only used resource based tools. A mighty profit if I do say so myself.

@BobFighter yeah, it is based on our level. Mine had some halberdiers and archers and flaming arrows and the sort, but my brother's (who is a lower level than me) only had some spearmen and bowmen
