Topic: [76491] Questions about Honor & Glory

Hi, I'm really new to this sort of game. But I have questions about Honor and Glory.

1. What is the difference between the two?
2. How do you get Honor and Glory? Is it just from fighting other players?
3. As a low level player do you want to keep it low or high?
4. Are there any rewards for having higher honor or glory?
5. How does it work when attacking higher or lower honor players?

I know that there is probably answers to these questions somewhere in this forum, but I've tried the search function and failed to find any threads relating to this.

I have a whole bunch of other questions too, but I thought I'd keep this short until I can get in alliance and get them answered there.

1) Honor is something more to "look" good in the rankings, and if you ask me is pretty much useless, you earn it by fighting players and winning, but it affects glory, and glory is for earning rewards, higher your glory, higher your title, and better rewards.

2) You can only get them fighting other players.

3) As a low level keep your honor low, but with glory you can try to have a good title, for the rewards.

4) having a lot of honor is kinda useless, more players will target you, and you will hardly have anyone to attack without losing honor, and there is no reward for having more honor, but you earn an extra % of glory if you have high honor, better your overall glory, better your title, and you can earn cool rewards, others are useless, you can check the requeriments clicking on "rankings" then on the glory button.
Everyday, you'll lose 2% of your glory, and there is also glory for the alliance; glory can also be won even if you lose.

5) Your honor and level, and the other's players honor and level affects the amount of honor you can earn in a battle, (sometimes you will not earn anything, or you can even lose honor), for example if you attack someone of your level with an amount of honor close to you, it is more likely that you will earn honor, and if you are a level 60 and attack a level 30 with low honor, its very likely the level 60 will lose honor, and don't earn any, and you earn glory depending of the size of the fight, so bigger the battle, better glory, so the level doesn't matter here, it is more the amount of soldiers you killed on the other side and other bonuses (banners, honor bonus, etc) and to get glory, you have to fight in a battle where you can earn at least "1" of honor.

Well here's a few more questions:

1. Hideouts; How much resources do they actually protect? Can you hide all your resources? How many should I build in case of attacks at lower level?

2. Defensive Tools; How much should you put on your walls at low levels? Is it worth it to put like 40 stone throwers? Can an enemy send one wave of attackers just to use up all your tools and a second as a main force?

3. Attacking; Does taking one flank and the center negate the bonuses at the keep?

4. Multiple Accounts; Is it possible to have more than one account? My brother was thinking of playing to.

5. Do you get more castles to build in higher levels?

6. What are those other areas outside of the Great Empire and how do you play there?

1) They protect 750 resources each, meaning that if you have a level 2 keep, and 2 hideouts you will protect a total of
1000 + (750*2) resources = 2500 of stone, 2500 of wood and 2500 of food, try building a couple of them or a lot in lower levels, but remember having more plants and public order as you level up is more important, and yes, you can protect all of your resources, just build the appropiate amount of hideouts for your storage level.

2) Always put a lot of tools, and yes it worth to put a lot of them, especially in separate slots (after you have a level 2 wall or gate), but of course the enemy can send a martyr attack to clear the tools, but it will cost the enemy lots of honor because of the attacks, but if you put a lot of tools, then it doesn't have a point to send 10 or more martyr attacks

3) If you win a section only (as an attacker) in the keep you will fight @ -30% of power, if you win 2 sections in the keep both will fight without a bonus, and if you win all the sides you will fight @ +30% of power in the courtyard/keep fight

4) Yes, you are allowed to have another account, but you cannot have 2 accounts in the same server, but you can contact support http://support.goodgamestudios.com/ if you want to have an account for you and another for your brother using the same Internet Access

5) You will have a maximum of 7 castles
3 outposts and 4 main castles
Outpost 1: Can be captured after you build an estate in level 13
Outpost 2: Can be captured after you build an estate in level 19
Outpost 3: Can be captured after you build an estate in level 31

6) The areas out of the great empire kingdom are 3
"Everwinter Glacier" you unlock it at level 25
"Burning Sands" you unlock it at level 40
finally "the "Fire Peaks" you unlock it at level 50

Everytime you get into a new kingdom you will have another main castle, you can play there after you have reached level 25 you should get a message from the Emperor, and will see a quest about going into the "Everwinter Glacier", in the new kingdoms you will see other soldiers in the NPC's, fortresses (big NPC castles with a global cooldown time) and resource Villages, those will increase the production of the resource they give in 20% (wood and stone) or 30% food, to capture them you have to build a loot warehouse in level 26, (available only for the new kingdoms)
