How do you loot a castle

If you attack another castle (NPC or a Player castle) the soldiers who survive the fight will loot according to their looting capacity, and the opponnent's resources in the castle they are looting, have on mind players can have a "safe camp" which allows them to protect some resources from being plundered, thing that doesn't happen in the NPC's and, you can use looting sacks or carts to loot even more resources after the win, also there is a cap in every NPC castle you attack

You attack them, and if you win, you loot them of some of their resources.

Defeat a castle, and you will gain "loot". This comes in the form of wood, stone and food. The amount of each is determined by your soldiers' loot capacity and whether you used loot sacks/carts or not. Robber barons and players both have a limit to the amount of resources you can steal, both based on their level.

If you are talking about the series of quests where you must loot castles, then it has a bug. The loot might not update when you attack a castle and win. BTW, for that series of quests, you must loot only player's castles, NOT robber barons (or other NPCs).
