Topic: [76539] Getting attacked from all sides

By men carrying a green banner with a snake on it and they come from little camps that weren't there this morning. They attack my outposts and my castle (twice). I'm now busy pimping my defense but who are these guys and why do they attack me with so many waves?

They seem to look like the shades I can hire now and then...

EDIT: They're also with.. Well.. MANY! I'm not going to survive this -.-

They are shadow mercenaries. These are troops that a player, or players has sent to attack you.

You will not know who sent them.

They are just part of the game.

You could try opening the gates if you have the rubies or moving your troops out of your castle. Quite often these kinds of attacks are followed up with attacks with normal troops.

Those are shadow armies sent by a player. One of the main features of a shadow army is that you can't see which player sent them, and since the attack has to come from somewhere, a camp will spawn on the map and the troops will come from there.

I play on Netherlands 1, if that's what you mean. At least I know who these guys are. My castle is burning badly and I can't fix it because I'm upgrading my market. -.-

Since noone gets honor or glory from shadow attacks, it's likely the player who sent them has a personal grudge against you or sent them to clear out your defense. In that case the next player attacking you would be the primary suspect. Who ever did it spent a lot of rubies on them.

If s/he sent them to clear my defense then it failed :P My men are just coming back from their attack. And yeah, they were like 1260 mercenaries in total. That's a lot of rubies indeed.
