Hi,

some of my Alliance members are in ruins, however they have been active within the past 2 days, anybody know why this has happened ?

They probably deleted their accounts, therefore going straight to ruins?

edit - sorry, slightly off topic but kinda related: a few weeks ago I captured an outpost from a lv43 near me who had fallen into ruins. The day after I captured it he reappeared, then disappeared again a couple of days ago. Anyone know why?

Also it was our Alliance leader who was destroyed, so what happens to our Alliance now, can it still function without the founder ?

The system should have passed the leader to one of the generals when the leader fell to ruins, but it might be after their castle disappears from the map.

If it doesn't then contact support.

It is after the castle disappears from the map.

A castle goes to ruins in #of days : level +1
If a castle comes back from ruins, the player probably logged in at the same day he turned to ruins.
But that's just an assumption i saw this happening with some other castle near mine.

And saw that his alliance had all left and one of his outposts had been stolen, so he changed his mind about coming back. Or at least I presume that's what happened.
