Topic: [76551] What happens if someone defeats Barbarian Forces while you are en-route?

Like the title says, what happens when you send an army to attack a Barbarian Fortress but someone gets there first? I am guessing they just turn around and come back but can anyone confirm this for me?

Couldn't see an answer to this anywhere else so hope this hasn't already been asked.

edit: argh, obviously I meant FORTRESS in the thread title before someone corrects me (that gin and tonic was a bad idea...)

If you are on the way to a Barbarian Fortress and someone got there first, you will not attack it, and your troops will return

Basically anything you attack, if the state of the target changes before you get there, the battle will not happen.
