Do you know the recruit time formula?
Adding a training ground level1 I see only a small vantage, not +25%

Im a small lvl but i know about the reaserch tower i know i have 100 of decorative items you cant hardly see anything acceppt decorative items but my speed is still to slow and a 3 min advantage is very good if you want the biggest advantage so... i think you should celebrate that food thing so i think you should do that i know you need to reaserch for better things to get vetrens you need speed celebrate for vetrens reserch but make sure you have enough food

I believe he is talking of the Drill Grounds, another ruby item under military in construction. Just another advantage given to those that buy rubies ... as if they don't already have enough of an edge

And the level 2 Drill Grounds give a massive +50% speed.

It adds 25% to the recruitment speed - it doesn't directly take 25% off the original time, like with the feast, the drill instructor etc.
In my main castle, my recruitment speed is only 205% (only lvl 45 who never got around to getting another few parks), but even in that castle, adding 25% will not do as much as you think it will.
But I think that it's still a good use of rubies. It does more than the drill instructor, lasts forever and only costs 50% more. It does less than all of the feasts, but you can get them as well and you need a LOT of food to have feasts going non-stop.
