My question is, if you have lets say 150 attacking soldiers, and 150 defensive soldiers, do those defensive soldiers automatically get stationed (assuming your wall has 150 men capacity) or will it split 75/75, and if it does, then wont those men die if theres an attack?

The defensive soldiers will always be put in the walls first, depending of the settings, balance between melee and ranged, maximum amount of soldiers in the walls, the game will put the soldiers accordingly, and if you mean "stationed" when supporting someone the same applies
