This has to do something with the capitols right? Few people know the answer to anything regarding capitols as there are few 3-4 (?) in each map and they all are owned by big alliances.

The Royal storage stores 1,160,000 of each resource (besides food)
The Palace unlocks the super strong units. I don't know which, but there's both offensive and defensive

I have managed to get the stats of the defensive new troops, but not the attacking new troops.

They're not *that* good - only a bit better than the veteran defenders, but they are certainly the best defensive troops in the game.
