You need to send them to die.
Use robber barons or send them to attack inactive players (check your sword brothers for inactivity). Either that or put all your unwanted troops in your weakest outpost and let them desert/starve.

There is no real way, i just take a hit on my honor and send weak attacks to nearby players warning them the attack is meant to lose.
