There are several ways to acquire rubies, apart from buying them

• Attack and win against Robber Baron Castles, from level 3 and above you will have certain chance of winning rubies, the amount of rubies you will earn depends of the level of the Robber Baron, and also, the same applies to the other NPC Towers in other Kingdoms (Barbarian Fortresses, Desert Towers, Cultists' Towers)
• Complete Non-XP quests, those will give the amount displayed in the "rewards" for that quest
• Leveling up also give you rubies, each time you level up you'll earn 60 rubies
• Attack and win against Fortresses located in the (Everwinter Glacier, Burning Sands, Fire Peaks, Kingdoms), those will give you 150, 250 and 300 rubies respectively if you win, and some coins and resources
• Events, you can get rubies from certain events such as the tournament, King of the Robber Barons, Shady character, etc, the amount you earn depends of the event itself
• Get the required amount of Achievement points displayed on the "achievement" page to earn the "ruby" rewards
• Some glory ranks will also give you rubies, and the level of the alliance will give rubies to your alliance cashbox each time you level up your alliance
• Through the Daily "Log-in" bonus
