How does one get anywhere with 3-4 people attacking you every day? The only alliance invite I have had was one guy telling me I have to give him 1/2 my resources every day to be in his alliance. Is this normal?

Dont give him half of your resources everyday! To get in a good alliance, get honor, a good army, and a reasonable level. As to survive, get good defenders. if you get attacked a lot, keep all defenders, no attackers. Getting in a good alliance is good, as people would fear your alliance. F.Y.I, my alliance leader is lvl 51 and he got attacked 11 times in 5 hours. He won 7 of them, which is really good.

You likely have a high honor count (or at least enough for them not to lose any) hence why they are attacking you. Remember there has to be some sort of incentive behind attacking regularly or else it isn't worth the effort. If you build a few hideouts and only build defense troops then eventually it won't be worth his time and you'll wear him down. There is a reason why defensive troops are cheaper.

you need to be strong and nere your memebrs i was always getting attacked until i joined citezens advice in uk 1 to level 60s and im a generel the king is 4 k away and i havent been attacked for a month know except for rober barons

You need to build defences troops and tools. Also i would advise you to put your defences into a 0%-60%-40% ratio, it saves on resources for tools for the left flank as you leave the slots blank. Also if you have a reasonable army of defenders (around 200 veterans) you will proberably win the main and right flank.

Resources mean little to good alliances; if they are asking for half your resources either they are really, really greedy or have no understanding of this game.

And 200 vet defenders? Against a possible 1,040 vet attackers?

Do you have 1000 vet defenders?

Obviously I won't reveal my exact troop numbers on this forum. But I can tell you that some people have a lot more than 1000 vet defenders in their castles.
