Hey Guys, So I used that handy little search bar in the top right corner and I found some information about Inactivity and your castle going to ruins. I will be gone for about 2 - 3 months and I probably won't have access to this game. With that being said I heard it was your "level + 1 day" so does that mean in 61 days I will turn to ruins? That is what I read using search bar, I was just confirming the accuracy of those old posts before I jump to any conclusions. Thanks for your time!

Yeah, its pretty straightforward. If you're level 60 then its 60 + 1 = 61 days of inactivity before you're ruined. It would be such a shame considering your high level though... are you sure you can't login using another comp just once while you're gone?

I'm not positive how this works, but I think that even after you go ruins, you'll still have a little bit of time to come back and restore your castle to exactly how it was before. I've heard about people going to ruins and getting an e-mail that says something along the lines of "your castle has gone to ruins, but your rubies remain. Log back in to claim them"(rough remembrance, not exact quote). Can anyone clarify this?

If you purchase Protection before you leave, your castle's ruin-counter, for lack of better words, won't start until your castle becomes unProtected again.
At least that's what I came to understand by some CM's posts.

Yah if a mod can verify this that would be great, & for ProStrategos, no I am joining the Canadian Forces & Basic Training is pretty strict, So I don't want to take any risk in this, if protection mode will buy me more time, I am ruby player so that will be an easy fix

It would buy you a lot of time. The maximum protection is 2 months, which I assume is at least 56 days. Add that to 61 and you should have 117 days - almost 4 months - before your castle goes to ruins.
I hope you get to keep your castle, and I hope that whatever basic training you do goes well.

Sorry, didn't know that - trying to logon would definitely be not worth the risk, and anyway you have other options now... wish you luck!

I can confirm it is your level plus one day if you do not buy protection and good luck.
