Topic: [76983] Self Support?

I did a search but did not find anything.

Why is it that you can not send support to your own castle/outposts? You have to station your troops which I have not determined recieves the alliance bonus for support travel. Not only that but by stationing them you have to consolidate all your troops food into one castle and end up eating it dry.

Why cant we just be able to support our own castles so that the food remains with the supporting castle just like supporting someone else and that we get the support travel time bonus.

When you transfer troops to yourself, the alliance bonus Travel - Support Speed is not affected by this. Only the stables speed + the player's Forced March speed applies.

This has been brought up before.

I think it's to stop people stationing all their troops in one castle and then opening the gates in the others, therefor making that castle incredibly strong without reducing food stocks.

And yes, It's quite often faster for your alliance to support you than it is for your troops to travel the same distance when stationing. This is even more of an issue in the new kingdoms where villages can be quite far away from your main castle. When you build the research tower you can increase the speed that your own troops travel at between your castles which helps a bit.

Maybe there should be a separate section in the alliance which covers stationing.

It's just the way the game is I think. We wouldn't want to make it too easy now would we?

That gives me an idea....why can't we have an "alliance bonus" which increases the number of hours you can station troops at an alliance castle? Right now, the maximum time is 12 hours, but we can increase that by paying rubies/resources.
