a perfect outpost would be level3 stables,flour mill,stonemason,level2 watchtower,level4 bakery,12 level10 town houses,6 level9 stone quarries,level5 barracks,level3 siege and defense workshop,10 level3 guardhouses,level6 storage,level5 marketplace,level4 walls,towers,keep,level2 drill grounds,all kg soldiers,and research tower completed and the rest all festival squares

It's really an impossible question to answer as different players play in a different way.
I think there are some good points here about buildings vs decorations. Someone needs to do some good calculations to actually find out if a 75% farm + a 56% farm would make more food than having one additional park/festival square. That would interest me.
I have a fully built 8 food / 2 stone outpost.
I make 306 food per hour from my 75% farm and 229 from my 56% farm.
If I remove one festival square it reduces food income by 57 food per hour.
As you can see, there's a big difference there.

having only 8 farms in a 8food outpost wont maximise the amount, the 75+56% farms would easily make 500 foods together that is over 200 veteran soldiers. no festival squares could beat that amount in an 5*10 space. even 2 victory coloumn wont beat that.
as i calculated around 13-17% occupancy farms still give me more soldiers than placing a festival square

Let's say that 1 farmhouse level 10 produces 400 food/h, then 8 of them would produce 3200 food/h, which is equal to 8,000 4-food-consuming soldiers. Adding more farmhouses will increase it to nearly 40,000 I think, which is 10,000 soldiers. That's not that a little amount. And with all that public order + King's feast it would make it very high.
Let's see if 400 food/h is nearly +250% PO + 20% from barracks + 300% from King's feast = 570% recruiting time
A food outpost can really make a player to a death machine. And you can even have 3 outposts

Having 8 farms is terrible in a 6 food outpost. In my main castle, I get 20 more food than the base production in my 56% occupancy farm. This is without having the castle anywhere near full and without a single ruby deco or even the flat earth deco.
If you are saying that each park makes you produce more than 267.4 extra food (my 75% occupancy farm x 2 because a park takes up double the space) when you only have 8 farms to start with, I think you need a brain test. After getting a high PO, it takes a LOT to get even a single extra percent productivity.

thats not true there is occupancy rate and productivity.
occupancy rate is 100% the first three woodcutters/farms/stonequarry.
festival squares and bam, productivity goes up allot.

What we're saying is that the 100% always stay the same, always. The next one you build will produce 75% of the 100% first building of that type. Once you fill a castle with decorations, the last one you place hardly has any effect on production at all. Each decoration will increase the production less than the previous one.

3200 is the equivalent of 800 soldiers x 4, not 8,000!

With a bakery level 4, a soldier consumes 2.4 food. This gives you 1333 soldiers. But yeah, I think Peter made a typo.
40,000 food sounds a bit ridiculous. Maybe 6,000 food - 2500 troops without even going into negative numbers. Get a 50 hour hunter going non-stop and farm a lot of castles, and you can get enough food to sustain a -500 food per hour loss easily.

also it depends on how much space you have, what level you are, and specially how much you are building
however a lvl 1 camp will be worth more than getting decorations (due to the resource cost)
space wise however decorations are better,
me though will be running 6 camps of each but not all of them fully upgraded since it takes such a long time for them to pay off
i have 118 PO, and about 10-12 PO i need for a 1 % increase, so building a camp will pay off more early on, due to resource costs
another thing to factor in is - what resource do you need, 1% increase means you get 1% more of every resource
so say you gain 200 wood 100 stone and 200 food, a 1% increase will give you +5
while a level 1 camp on 31% (wood) gives you about 3 wood
so to be honest there isnt an optimal way of building, your going to have to find the way that works best with how you are playing - buying lots of decorations when you are planning on expanding fast doesnt really pay off since you will be needing a specific resource more than a global output
in the long run id guess about 5 camps in main would be optimal - but again depends what your spending your going to spend resources on.
PS. 15 PO = 108% production rate
118 PO = 122% production rate
so tbh unless you have gotten to a high level and getting alot of output from your camps then running decorations wont pay off cost wise since 1% wont give you much more resources

How many farmhouses and woodcutters do you need for an outpost that has 8 food and 2 wood?
I go with 16 food and 10 WCs. @ 200 PO they can still make a good amount of wood
I also keep as many dwellings as I can and still keep the PO up. Once you get the park it's easy enough and the tax money really helps

Honestly I don't think anybody should bother building extra resource buildings (which have 75% and 56%)
Unless they max out their original 100% output buildings first. If you put the time into it, it's much more efficient to simply level those up, unless you're playing in ever-winter glacier or something and you need tiny amounts of resources fast to seed your castle.
