(I've read the FAQ on this subject. I'm looking more for advice with this post)
So I got to the Ice Kingdom! Awesome! I built my Ice castle up, got my alliance mates to come to the same area, and now we are ready to start rocking out and grabbing those Villages!!!
Oh, wait.... Every Village with in 30 miles of me is 10 levels or more above me... The guys I scout I couldn't beat even if I had my whole Homeland Army couldn't beat.... There are no unclaimed Villages....
So, attempt at humor aside, How the 'Blank!' is someone suppost to break into this area? I've been here for 5 levels, and all I can do is build, very slowly... I don't mind fighting, but I don't really feel like picking a fight with some one that Level 40, belongs to a huge alliance, and makes it so 6 Monsters attack me in the homeland.
(I did that once! Dude's alliance set over half my buildings on fire at all 4 castles and wiped every troop I had. One castle had 2 maces and a bowman left after 5 attacks in a row. Someone marched 5 hours to kill them. I spent 2 days putting the fires out and the only reason they stopped was the alliance leader felt sorry for me when I offered to pay half of what I make to them.)

well, we have the same problem on our server, but we are on the other side, we own most of the villages, I have 27 still and share them when other members of our alliance enter the world, they are to scares to just give them up, eventho 15 are useless to me atm after GGE update last week. I can see youre point, but at this stage all i can say is just be patient and wait for new ones to show up, its somehow an unwritten rule, dont attack someones village:)

Before recently, people could take up to 30 villages (10 of each kind). That has changed now and the limit is 15. You can just steal villages from people who have more than 15 and they can't take them back unless they voluntarily abandon all but 14. That's not going to happen as the extra villages are not useless, as ton implied. They produce a lot of extra income and you shouldn't give that advantage away. As much extra food as those villages may produce it won't be enough to sustain a 100 men army in each of them PLUS a propper castle defense and an attack army... So with the right planning and timing you should be able to take some villages from your stronger neighbors. I recommend you leave them at least 6 villages of each kind, because if you take 5 or more that enables them to abandon their villages and attack yours. If you want to avoid attacks on your castles you should also drop your honor. There are only two options for revenge left: sabotages and having someone else with fewer villages take them back.

Screw that! I'll get an ally to retake the village and burn the person to the ground regardless of -1,000 honor...I can bring my honor back up in a week or so
No offense to anyone....

Affirmative!
Stealing is bad mmmkaaayyy. GGS is giving bad advice telling you to steal someone else's villages. That advice could get your burned so bad you won't be able to play the game, much less have any villages in ice. My advice is to get GGS to fix this mistake, rather than try to take a village.

I had about 20 villages and I went away on holiday and 2 guys stole like 8 of my villages. One of them was nice and we had nice agreements. I offered to let him keep them for another few weeks and then I'd take them back from him at a fixed time and kill as few soldiers as possible. I got about 4 back. The other person (Wickie in STEEL Sword), in STEEL!! wouldn't give them back and said that he would burn me to the ground and make everyone attack me and steal all my villages and make me so depressed that I would go mad and quit the game. He is also in STEEL like me so he obviously only thinks about himself. I've never got them back since.
He killed all my troops while I was away and never even said sorry. This was quite a while ago and I am now 7 levels above him and he is only level 45 but he still has my resource villages which are 20 times nearer to me but I haven't attacked him because he is in STEEL like me.

Sorry Mr. Mackey, but I don't speak for GGS. I'm just stating the facts and a somewhat obvious strategy for "noobs" to get some villages. GGS declared they did the update to give newcomers to iceland a fair shot. I assume they either ran out of space to add new villages in their most populated server or they couldn't add new villages fast enough to keep up with the number of new icelanders.
Don't get me wrong, I'm in the same position as you guys. I used to have 28-ish villages and lost some food villages after the update. And I reacted in a similar way to make sure I won't lose even more. But that's all you can do, really. Defend what you fear to lose and set an example of what you are willing to do, if that happens again. You can burn them to the ground if that makes you sleep any better, but you will never get your villages back.
The main problem with this update is that ressource production was not capped at the rate of 5 villages. If the 5 extra villages were actually useless noone would have a problem with losing them and it would actually help newcomers. I don't think that is an unintentional mistake though. GGS always try to encourage more fighting with all their updates. What's questionable about it is that they pit the strong vs. the weak and give the strong an extra advantage (more food). An advantage that they will probably lose over time but none of the newbies will ever be able to reach. Suppose some of the strong manage to hold on to their bonus forever, that's going to be unfair to those who came later and managed to reach 15 villages.

If you think that this is bad, get lost. This is a war game, and the main principal of a war game (IMO) is:
Take advantages off another to get them yourself.
That means that if you win an attacking battle, you will gain (sometimes honour and glory, always loot) while they will lose (generally fires, always lost loot). That means that if you successfully win an attack on a food villages, you will gain (food production) while they will lose (food production again).
If you don't like this, quite frankly, you're wasting your time on this game. Stealing is bad. Killing troops is bad. War is bad. But this is a game for fun, and as long as it doesn't change the way you think about these things, it doesn't really matter.

The question is not wether its good or bad but if its worth it.
From the perspective of a noob: Is it worth to risk eternal suffering the likes of which only luke fierysword has ever seen? Yes it is!
From the perspective of someone who lost their village: Is it worth crying over spilled milk and ruining the game for someone else because you werent smart enough to defend your unfair advantage? Probably not but keep them down anyway. :P
Like I said before, the only thing that bothers me is that some people will have an advantage that others can never get.

If someone takes one of my food villages (i have 10) and goes unpunished what will prevent him to take the others
. I got my villages fighting and no one can take them for free, only if he is in my alliance or a friend.

Your defenders in your food villages because you are not so careless to leave those precious, almost unique villages undefended.

You should contact your alliance leader because attacking another steel member is not allowed and if he did so it was not good, leader of the steel will throw him out.

Rvs are such little things, yet they can start huge wars! However there is a loophole. Rvs can be a
taken from someone who is in protection mode and they can't get them back!!!

I choose random. so dumb. is location 550:800 south? In need pls help me to figure out/ determine if i'm north, south, east or west?
What's the point of taking a village, if im outnumbered. i want to move my snow castle pls.

Well, the main reason for protection mode is that the player is going on holiday or won't have internet access for a while, so they couldn't take it back anyway because they wouldn't be on the game. If someone wants to go into protection mode for another reason (e.g. too scared to face people's attacks) and has RVs, then they need to take that into account when deciding whether they really do want to activate it.
