When I hit lvl 8 my build times tripled or more. Anyone know why this spiked and how to cut it back down. My public order is at 1 and it was in the negatives and I still had better build times. Any help is appreciated.

Yes build times in the beginning are quick to get you a good start to get your production going. The only thing that will speed up building time is the keep upgrade (level 11 ish? can't remember). you will start to runout of supplies and will need to start attacking RB's regulary to provide enough to continue.

As with any good "building game", the times at the start are there so you don't start, see "5 hours to completion" and give up. I doubt at level 8 that you've hit anywhere near big upgrade times - researching veterans takes an entire week and upgrading a single farmhouse takes 15 hours (multiply that by at least 10 per castle and you get a lot of waiting).

GGE is a waiting game when it comes to construction. Once you hit level 8 your time goes up because you completed the basics of the game. Many new players believe that the beginning time is there to stay only to realize that the time significantly goes up. From what Ive seen many new players come on only to leave a few days later, many reasons but probably due to impatience. The only way your are going to be able to survive in this game is have patience, build suitable defenses, etc.

Clarification:
when you get to level 8 in the game, the building time does increase.
The level 8 RB's get a little harder to beat, but also start to give noticeably larger returns.
Public order increase means you have increased your production of wood, stone and food--Build decorations, towers to increase your public order.
Dwellings make the pubic order decrease--Yes you do need to make dwellings because they determine your tax amount:
In short, you have to balance dwellings and decorations to get production

I believe it's the other way round. You profited from a rule that makes building for the early levels much quicker. I can't remember having such an advantage when I started.Conqueror9 wrote: »omg..

not even going to bother trying to put it in quotes: Timing of buildings as in hours & minutes increase as the levels of upgrades increase
RB's increase in gold and loot amount and not even worth putting it into a chart
The 2 are not the same concept!
