In the attack panel
we can place army to attack left wing, fronter, right wing
both left and right can only has fewer attacking soldier
i have tested
i loaded fronter with attacking soldier only
i loaded fronter and right wing with attacking soldier only
i load left, fronter and right wing with attacking soldier only
the result are the same except i get big loss ( additional loss in left and right wing)
any 1 has tested only place attacking army on left or right wing only ( no fronter )??
More question :
What does Espionage report do ?
when do i need to place ladder ??
what happen if espionage report shows defending sodlier are also find in the upper deck of enemy castle ??

Before attacking a target, you should start by spying on said target. Spying multiple times is your best bet, as he could be transfering soldiers from one outpost to another.
Also, trying to spy his other castles/outposts near the targeted castle is ideal, to be aware of the possible support he can get.
Scanning the area for possible alliance members who can support him is also necessary.
After all that spying is complete and you're ready to attack, here's some easy semantics.
The left flank and the right flank both contain 1/5th of your max amount of units, and the middle contains the other 3/5th left.
You'll want to attack on all 3 sides to prevent your opponent from focussing mainly on defending on one side, thus splitting up HIS forces much more than your own. Please note that what you wish to achieve is to make it through to his Keep.
Regarding the tools needed, when you spied on your target, you'll want to remove all his defense bonuses. Say his wall defense bonus is up to 105% and a 25% defense for ranged defenders, you will want to use 11 scalling ladders per wave on each flank/mid to remove entirely his wall defense bonus, and also use 5 mantlets to adequately counter his +25% defense to ranged defenders.
Please note however that your target may make the changes according to your attack plan.
Personnally, if I see someone attacking me with complete ruby tools enabling him to entirely negate my defensive bonuses, I'll try to change tactic a bit to at least optimize my tools (aka by using flaming arrows, moat tools, wall tools, or castle gate tools, whichever the person attacking me seems to have focused the least on).
As an attacker, you'll want to win on at LEAST 2 out of 3 sides. For the last battle (in the Keep):
- Winning all 3 sides gives a bonus of +30% to your soldiers for the last battle in the Keep.
- Winning 2 out of 3 sides gives you no bonus at all.
- Winning 1 out of 3 sides gives you a penalty of -30% to your soldiers.
So as a defender, you'll to win at LEAST one side, preferably two. Going for 3 is often more suicidal than anything else, as your maximum amount of soldiers on the walls is 260, and you have to split them in 3... Not a probable win against any worthy opponent. Going for two however is much, much more easier, and it provides you with a +30% in the Keep - that is the much desired option.

Pretty much what J.I Joe said, and remember when you recieve an espionage report, It'll show the soldiers stationed there, at the time the espionage hits, it doesn't update unless you spy again
