how dose flaming arrows work, they just increase the power of defender soldiers or do some thing else,,8)

They increase the defence of ranged defenders, so for example the longbowmen will be able to take more damage before dying.

Basically all range soldiers (these with range combat attack) on said part of the wall which has the flaming arrows will receive a 25% defense bonus. So, a Long-bowman with 125 defense against range soldiers with flaming arrows will now have an additional 31 defense against range soldiers resulting into 156 defense against range (if rounding down).
