this might sound like a stupid question but how do you ACTUALLY GET glory points?

Whenever u fight with any other player, u get glory points which are based on the battle size..

To get glory/honor points you have to attack another player castle/outpost, but to get glory points, the battle have to give you at least 1 of honor if you win, the amount of glory you earn is determined by the amount of defenders you kill, the glory % bonus your current honor points give, the amount of banners/war banners you used in the battle and whether you have the marauder or not, farmers usually worth less glory if you kill them.

To get glory attack player and win it or lose it but if u attacked an outpost with no dweling and soldier it not make honor but the key is:
"More Big The Battle More Big GLory Point You Received"

Killing 2500 farmers, doesn't give you as many glory as killing 1000 veterans for example

No.

How much honour you earn is calculated purely on the level and honour of you and your opponent. If you win the battle, you will earn the honour stated whether the player had 1 armed citizen or 50,000 veteran defenders.

To get much Glory points
1: Find a castle that gives you glory/honor if you win
2: Be sure you have a fair chance to win
3: Build up the army as fast as possible
4: Evt. spy on the castle if it's been some time ago since the last spying
5: Attack the castle with an army that can defeat the other castle/outpost

If you think the main castle is too hard, attack a wood/stone outpost instead, because it can't store as many soldiers

I say big battle not big farmer battle
