A few way you can get rubies is from attacking robber barons, completing quests and buying them.
You cannot produce rubies like you would food etc.

Read the 7th part of the game help, entitled "Rubies".
Please make the title of the thread relevant to the content. "Hey" tells us nothing but "rubies", "how to get rubies" or something along that line would be useful.
You can earn rubies from:
I've probably missed something off here, but as you can see, there are loads of ways to earn rubies. Now that you know how to get them, you need to know what to spend them on:
Level 4 bakery
Level 1 training ground
in all 7 castles.
That should keep you busy for a while. :P

You can earn rubies from:
- Completing certain quests (rubies are shown in the rewards).
- Levelling up (60 each time).
- Defeating robber baron castles above level 3 (you earn different amounts and sometimes none at all, decided by a luck factor and the level of the castle).
- From the daily login bonus (10 on day 4 and 60 on day 7).
- From other-kingdom RBC equivalents (e.g barbarian fortresses). The amount you earn is decided in the same way as normal robber barons.
- From fortresses in other kingdoms (150 per barbarian, 350? per desert and 450? per dragon). The amount is not displayed in the battle report but remains the same each time you attack it.
- From completing a task from the shady character event (100 each time, along with some coins).
- From gaining a prize in the glory tournament event (25 for a participation prize and 100 for being in the top 100, along with some coins for both prizes).
- From defeating the King of the Robber Barons during the event (30 along with a week's protection from robber baron attacks).
- From completing achievement levels (exact amount varies per time but is often close to 100 rubies).
- From the welcome bonus (300 but can only be gained once).
- From buying rubies (look at your total rubies and click on the ruby picture to the right hand side entitled "Add rubies", then click on "rubies" and select the amount and pay for them).
