Is rare to see miscalculations of the game, is probably you don't know how to calculate food production
Plant Output * Occupancy rate * Public Order/Flour Mil/Research/Overseer bonuses = Total Plant Production
If you have more than 2 farmhouses in a wood/food stone/food outpost the 3rd one and above won't produce as much, and also if you have low public Order the food plants will not produce a lot because of that reason, and bakeries doesn't Increase production, they decrease consumption

First of all, if this is in your main castle, you have forgotten about the occupancy rate.
In your main castle, 3 resource plants of each type will produce normally. After that, the next plant will produce 75% of the one before it. For instance, if I had 3 lvl 1 farmhouses producing 15 food each, the next lvl 1 farmhouse would produce 10 additional food.
Next, you didn't take the flour mill into account. This adds 10% per level.
Then you missed out public order. This is affected by dwellings, decorations, protection (towers and wall and gate) and unrest (fires and rubble). Public order increases the production of plants (if positive), or decreases the production of plants (if negative).
You didn't mention an overseer or a veteran overseer so we don't need to factor that in.
I believe the the formula for each farmhouse is:
Base production * occupancy rate * productivity + alchemist potion
with productivity being:
Public order %age + (level of flour mill * 10)% + (number of overseers * 25)% + (number of veteran overseers * 30)%
And public order %age being:
Sqrt(4PO)
EDIT: Jadet got in just before me.

That's about right actually. All your farmhouses won't produce the base rate, only the first three will. Every farmhouse you build beyond that will have a decreased production of 25%, meaning that your first three level 5 farmhouses will produce 48 food an hour, but your fourth will only produce 48*0.75=36 food per hour, your fifth will produce 48*0.56=26.88 food per hour, etc. Put a calculator to it, and you end up with something pretty close to the production you state, not factoring in public order.
*EDIT: and I can see some people beat me to it. Third place isn't bad...

Apart from, of course, all types of outposts, main castles in the 3 different kingdoms and the capitals.
If anyone's interested, there are:
8 food and 2 wood outposts
8 food and 2 stone outposts
6 food and 2 wood outposts
6 food and 2 stone outposts
8 wood and 2 food outposts
6 wood and 2 stone outposts
8 stone and 2 food outposts
6 stone and 2 food outposts
Everwinter Glacier main castle (2 of each)
Burning Sands main castle (2 food, 1 wood and 1 stone)
Fire Peaks main castle (not sure but probably the same as burning sands)
Capital (3 food, 0 wood, 0 stone)

Good to know. I was using the logic that glacier used to be the same as sands, so sands should be the same as fire.

Ah, yes, of course. I was assuming that the original poster was talking about his main, but thank you for clarifying that.BobFighter834 wrote: »Apart from, of course, all types of outposts, main castles in the 3 different kingdoms and the capitals.

Ok, maybe some help then.
I have lvl 10 farm in main castle with 480% bonus - how do I arrive at the 480%?
I have - public order+213%, mill+30%, Overseer+25%, Vet Overseer+30%, Hunting lodge+10%, Research+20%
Also have bakery, but should be effecting the consumption not output.
Just that if I can replicate the values in game precisely, then I can calculate the break even point for farms vs castle gardens

Added up, that's 338%, but did you include research?Maurenmour wrote: »Ok, maybe some help then.

I know, I was referring to that one. Forgot to quote it. But yeah, over a year bump.
