Where are all the ice villages that the update a couple weeks ago were supposed to produce? It's been over two weeks and I still don't see any available villages anywhere. I thought that update was supposed to free villages up for other players. I need some in world 1, because there are none to be found.

The update was to place a limit of 5 of each type of village. Originally, I believe this meant that players would lose any extra villages they possessed, thus creating new available villages, but due to complaints, it was changed so that the players could keep the extra villages, but would be unable to capture them back if they lost them.

You got it wrong, the Villages now are limited to 5 of each type, and now they give almost the double as before if you capture one, but players with 16 or more villages when the update was introduced didn't lost any Village but they also can't recover them until they have 14 or below

I know what the update did. I wasn't asking about that. I was asking where the villages are that the updates was supposed to produce.
If the update doesn't produce any villages for people to capture, then all it did was give a huge advantage to those who already had them.
So, once again. Where are all the villages this update was supposed to produce? Or was the update only supposed to give a huge advantage to those who already had them?

The update produced no villages at all. It increased the occupancy rate and bonus of each type of village, but that's about it. GGS clearly didn't think it through. They tried to listen to dumb noobs shouting "OH NO IM 2 STUPID TO GET VILAGE ON ME OWN GIVE ME SOME OR MAKE EASY 2 HARD OH NO SO MAKE MORE", yet listened to reasoning by strong, high level, heavy ruby buying, intelligent ruby players. They didn't actually make anything easier at all, apart from food production - which affects high levels with lots of villages more than it does low levels with none or barely other.
