Does anyone know if The King's Banner has any special effects??? I'd hope so for the ruby price but you never know.

No, it doesn't have any "special" effects more than the big shiny flags in the world map

It's supposed to be a donation to GGS, to show your loyalty and financial support or some rubbish like that. I don't understand why anyone would get one - having full ruby buildings in all castles is going to scare people off more than a stupid flag, and they actually provide benefits.

One of the first things I bought was a king's banner. In initially I felt like a bit of an idiot and thought I'd made a big mistake but now I quite like it. It looks particularly good in white.

I am not stupid for buying one, in fact I like it and it is always good to support the game ^...^

The King's Banner is purely cosmetic. In some ways you could say certain decorative items are as well, sure they serve the purpose of increasing public order but a lot of them are just.. ugh such as Ornamental Tree.
