English is not my first language either, and personally, that sentence is something some people had said to me, and I didn't found it rude, or I thought they believe I was stupid (Hopefully ), I think he could have said "why", or said "I don't understand why is that", anyway we are getting too much off topic I guess..., if you actually know me, you'll know I'm not rude as I think you're suggesting ;(, and you called me Mouthpiece once, I think sometimes we are a little bit rude sometimes

I didn't know that of course so, my apologies. It is a difference of cultures and when that sentence is typed out, it can have be used in a condescending manner. We are getting off-topic so, don't cry...:D Be happy!!!

what level is it? level 9 rbc allows for 12 soldiers at flanks, but neither of the 3 levels (9-3, 9-2, 9-1) have 20 cross on flanks. maybe is an adventure map rbc?

you either send mutiple waves of left/right flanks crossbow or wait to get heavy crossbow

crossbows have:
Attack against ranged: 39
Defense against melee: 20
Defense against ragned: 7

that rbc use 50-0-50 pattern, this is the 1st lvl 10 rbc i hit, so i have to get thro' it
Apart from advice, last time i was told by 1 player, using 40-20-40 for defending his castle

This rbc, using 50-0-50
rbc is sure losing the fronter as no defend army is there
and the left/right flank, i can only assign 13 soldier to attack

but enemy's flank has 20 soldier
but i can only allowed 13 soldier
that is the major problem, he has more soldier than me, he get the strong soldier as me

even my major army go thro' fronter, i have no bonus at all

as he has 20 crossbowmen
i am sure i cannot use 13 crossbowmen to get thro
so i assign 13 macemen to try to whether they can get thro with tools

Result:
left flank: lost 13 macemen but kill 20 crossbowmen...but game consider i lost in that flank
right flank: lost 12 macemenr but kill 20 crossbowmen... i win as i have 1 macement left

war continue in courtyard ( level 10 rbc has defend army sitting in courtyard)
and i win

It seems to me, i need better attacking soldier from barrack ( which require level 20 to upgrade ) ...but i stuck in level 18~~ too bad~~

just send a lot of men in the front with 2 waves (and possibly 3 if you have it),
you can find waves on the attack menu where the little sign that says 1/2 (or maybe more) with arrows next to it, click on it and you go to wave 2,
the first wave hits first, then the 2nd and so on, once all the waves are done, everyone goes to the courtyard, this way, if you send enough men you can beat him in the courtyard

well, i agreed with xJadetsssx don't use defence soldiers to attack rbc! And as i read the thread, he is very clear in what he is writing. But again, let us al be nice on the forum against each other. I think xJadetsssx is only trying to help. And again don't use defence soldiers against rbc!

You gave wrong info initially. you said you can only assign 12 soldiers at flanks, and level 9 rbc allows as much.

No it's not. That's the second lvl 10 you are hitting. 10-2 to be exact. (level 10, 2 victories to 11) . 10-3 had 8c/24c/8c. Unless they have changed the levels around but i doubt it.

You need heavy crossbows for that or travelling crossbows (travelling knights quest). I used travelling knights for levels 6-1 to 10-1 (and then had level 5 barracks)

widen ur radious. i hit 15 radious around each castle. if your ops are bunched up together close to ur main, widen ur radious. you will level up faster
