can i setup soldiers on walls & towers as i want, because I don't want my two handed sword & mace-man on castle's walls but they are posted there automaticlly... i want to place only archers there,

Yes, there's a little icon with a sword and some arrows just above the tool slots that lets you change the ration between ranged and melee soldiers.

When you select the ratio of what type of troops you want, it will automatically fill it with defenders first, then attack troops.
So say you choose 100% melee, but you don't have enough melee defender's to fill up that section: it will choose melee attackers to fill the rest.
but if you have more ranged defenders, you could choose, say 80% melee-20% ranged, it'll fill up all your melee defenders and then start with ranged defenders.
You just need to play with the ratios to fill your sections with only defenders, and possibly recruit more defense troops if you don't have enough to fill up all your sections.

Yes, also, the game automatically chooses the type of troop with the strongest defense stats. Your two handed soldiers must have better defence stats than your melee defenders.
