When one is using loot sacks to attack a robber baron castle while the alchemist event is present, does one gain more ingredients than if one attacked without loot sacks? Do the loot sacks increase coins, and/or ingredients or only resources?

no, just resources. but if you send enough soldiers to carry all the resources , u don't need loot sacks/carts . even when attacking someone, you only steal 25% of what he has in his storage

Hell, the percentages seem messed up, I got a few brimstone early in, now just back to berries and roots, not a single nightleaf all day Alchemist event is not so great a deal to mess with, and again, the map pieces have stopped showing up as well.
