I do not understand how you "loot" a castle. Anybody give me step by step advice?

When you attack a players castle and are victorious your men will proceed to loot the castle to their set looting capacity of the players resources that are not in stored in the safe camp (keep & hideouts). You can see the looting capacity of each unit in the stats overview page, for example Two-handed Swordsmen can carry 28 resources. So, the more units that survive the encounter the more resources that shall be carried on their journey back.
