I've gotten to level 6 RBC and keep getting defeated. How can you open it up so you can use more troops? Seems like I can't send enough to battle.
Also, I'm at the max of food (2,500) does this creat a problem?

you can only use more "waves" but you cannot send more "troops" per wave, and you unlock other one until level 26, try sending melee attackers if there are ranged defenders, and ranged attackers if there are melee defenders, and use tools to counter the bonus, if you need any more help you can contact me in game

Maybe you're attacking too many and you need to get some more up to a better level instead of concentrating on the level 10s. Do a search on this forum, there are many guides to beating RBCs showing which troops to use for each RBC level and how to set them up for the attack without the need to spy.

lol Baldrick, that is such a good show and he was great! No, I'm attacking RBC level 6, I'm at level 10 in game. Thanks for info, new to this and not a tech type person lol

The info is unusable at his level, as the solutions provided are for using 2hs and hc
@ OP: widen your radious and level the rbc to level 3. when a trevelling knights quest pops up, use those level3 rbc to get your traveling knights. then , you can use traveling knights to defeat rbc from level 6-1 to 10-1 (that's what i did) using the solutions provided in the excel file you downloaded. when u reach level 10-1, you should have level 5 barracks (at least i did).

No, the information is very much still useful and easily transferable to any situation presuming you aren't a complete moron.
What kind of mental deficiency must one have to be capable of signing up to this game yet have a thought process that follows as: "Hmm, it shows that the robber baron castle has spearmen and they recommend that I send heavy-crossbowmen but I don't have them! Hmm, what should I send... I know macemen!".
Just send normal Crossbowmen instead of the Heavy-crossbowmen and Macemen instead of Two-Handed Swordsmen till you have access to the level 4 & 5 barracks troops.

it is quite easy to defeat by using Macemen and crossbowmen
recruit more soldiers
The only things... i can figure out
u just send 1 macemen and crossbowmen, that is y , u get defeated
there are players sending numberous waves to attack rbc with 1 macemen and 1 crossbowmen
all becos...they do not know ..how to increase amount of soldiers
try that..
e.g.
when u select Macemen in attack and place that figure in attack panel < u can assign 2 kind of sodlier to attack >
A macemen panel will pop up, there is (at least 2 button ) beside Macemen figure, it is "+" and "-". They are used to increase and decrease amount of Macemen, increase to maximum 27
forget left and right flank
just send army out to attack
u will defeat level 6 rbc
in future:
use 2 type of soldiers...
assign army in left and right flank
espionage target
...
step by step
u will become a General in there
have fun

ok, my apologies for being a dolt on this (I'm a newbie). When I get spy report, it says 4 in left flank, 0 in front and 4 in right flank. So I send out a maceman and crossbow in the front position and that will work?

It will not work
missing info:
assume courtyard ..no army ....for level 6, usually no army, higher level, may have army
The battle logic
1st battle : left, fronter and right
2nd battle : courtyard
result:
left..u loss...no army attack in there
fronter: u win.... no defeneder, any army can go thro
right: u lost...no army attack in there
b4 2nd battle start
game will assign bonus to the result of the 1st battle
bonus....attacker and defender both has no bonus
2nd battle start
your army marching to courtyard
enemy soldier in left and right flank retreat to courtyard
u have 2 soldier (1 macemen and 1 crossbowmen)
enemy has 8 soldier ( 4 from left flank, 4 from right flank)
hmmmmm
for level 6, i think u are sure lost in this battle
go to mail
c the attack report
there are number -ve in some panel
go to check it
that is where the fighting start and end

u will not c them ...
until u get a very high level barracks
u will not c them in rbc unless that rbc get very high level...so far, i ( this noob ) still do not meet them in rbc ( the highest i hit is level 11 rbc)
honestly..u do not need to do espionage until it is a level 8 or above rbc........shhhhhhhh

That is not true, regardless of the level of your barracks, or the level of the robber baron's you have, the travelling knights appear as an event, randomly, not because "higher barracks" level

I'm sure there's a RBC guide somewhere that starts at level 1 and shows all the info you would need. Apologies for posting a link to a higher level RBC guide.

I am telling u to level them to level 3 because in order to win the pieces, you have to hit level 3 and above

Where did you get that information, because that is completely wrong, and it is not stated in the event, I got a piece from a level 1 Robber Baron Once

I even got some magic potion from level 1 RBC's so, it is possible after all. As for the early robber barons i.e. level 1-6 or perhaps a few more, just recruit some crosses and put them through the middle and you will be pleasantly surprised as it did work for me without tools. However, I will continue to do some more tests to see how far I can go through the middle and no tools.
