Topic: [77700] any 1 advice me how to attack 22 bowmen and 22 macemen in fronter ??

RBC

get 0-100-0 defense
in fronter

there is 22 bowmen and 22 macemen

i can only assign 42 soldiers to attack

should i place
42 macemen
or
42 crossbowmen
or
21 macemen and 21 crossbowmen

i only have macemen and crossbowmen

any suggestion ??

aren't there another 14 maces and 14 bowmen in the yard?

level 11-1 (which would help to mention it in the beginning of the post)

my solution is 7twohs/0/7twohs and u loose 2 in the yard
twohs = 2hs = two hand-swords
you don't have those, so i guess maceman? 2 waves?

the point in hitting rbc is too make some gold out of it. if you end up wasting more gold to re-train soldiers to make up for the loses because you are hitting too high of a level for the strenth of the troops you have, best widen ur radious and do a lot of lolwer levels

yes, it is 11-1 rbc

but i do not have tow-hand sword ??

I eventually... waiting for a long time after upgrade barrack to lvl 4 with rubies to help
after i get 24 twohand

but i am still afraid..
so i send 24 twohand with another wave of 28 Macemen....use a lot gold to travel

lost 1 twohand and 1 macemen

way too many... i think in the end u lost gold

7x2hs/0/7x2hs i think is the optimal solution, because you use less gold to travel (but u loose 1 extra soldier). you have to see what you want and balance it out.

because an rbc gives you the ability to fill up a slot, it doesn't mean you should fill it up.

for each level i run a test to find the optimal solution. for example, for level 14-4:
i can send 17/51/17.

left flank is too hard. through trial and error i found out that whether i send

or
-/17/17

i would still loose 2 in the yard.... (i am using vets, so don't record this as a solution)

so why send more soldiers and waste more gold?

I agree

i rather lost some gold to save some soldier life

once i note ..i am sending excess soldier..i will reduce the amount

i just send to hit another 1 with 14(2hs) - 0 - 11(2hs)
this time, i do not add 2nd wave (macemen)
to c whether i can still able to win with lesser loss

hope i can pass thro that gap
then i will try to further reduce gold...

as i said earlier, i try to optimize the # of soldiers i send. so i don't remember as it has been long time ago that i did 11-1. Now that i think about it, my earlier statement, that you loose 1 extra soldier, was wrong.

So, I am pretty sure that whether i sent:
14/-/14
or
7/-/7

i would still loose 2 in the yard. I think if u reduce any of the flanks lower than 7, you will loose more.
