I didn't actually mean take them down. I meant show some strength, hit back, probably at one player and show them that you've got balls. Then try to enter into some diplomacy with the big strong alliance or offer them your services as help with other smaller alliances.
Sitting back and moaning about it wont do any good at all.
I kind-of agree with that, although I think there could be a chance you'd just annoy them enough into burn you to the ground. But being diplomatic is a very good option.

seriously dude, calm the heck down. i am apart of one of those big alliance (Blaatand) in international 2 i believe. heck, we have over 1500 members in all of our wings across the worlds. but i know for a fact that we never pick on anyone to far below us to fight back. heck, if people are doing that, then the jokes on them! if we attack someone that is a lower level then us, we lose honor, and don't gain any glory!
additionally, attacking as a group is not being a chicken, or showing weakness. it is simply a good attack strategy. they are not just gunning out for you like this, but for everybody that messes with them. being able to plan a good attack like that is something to look up to, and try to model.
lastly, this is what the game is all about! becoming strong, the best, and conquering your enemies. if you can't handle the heat, then don't play with fire.

I understand there are exceptions; there are those who put their heads down, push forward, and make it to the top. I applaud them for their bravery, but don't think they got there easy; they have suffered all the way there, and they probably still do.
Join an alliance for the strength, not because your friends are there. Make decisions that are going to benefit you, without being biased, and you should be on the road to excellence.
Well my experience in the russian/NL server was that instead of joining a dominant alliance you can create an alliance and become a dominant yourself. If you cant win and gonna sit like a chump and give up, then certainly you will never make it to the top. Although our alliance is still not the best in that particular server I am planning to ask several other small alliances whether they would be interested to merge with ours and eventually become one big alliance with hopefully over 40 members. Indeed it is a difficult road to get there but it's worth the effort!

i have never experienced such problem.. im in silver daggers 2 and do u know we got some gr8 players.. and not everyone in this world are bullies..when i was in lv 5 i used to get attacked by his lv 12 guy a lot so i asked a lv 20 guy to help me and he beated him up and afterwards we three became best friends.. [i still don't know why ?]

The fact that you even posted this up will make you an even bigger target. you have the choice to play the game or not. an i guess its your fault for playing still. i mean, if you dont like it just quit, dont need to post negative stuff like this. this game after all is about War and the objective of war is to win, i guess your those unlucky one that are on the loosing end, why dont you ask to join an alliance? or better yet join an alliance that attacked you.? havent you thought of that.?

Yeah, several players leave the game everyday and several join the game everyday - nothing remarkable at all. As far as I see it the person quarrel isn't so much about the comment being false but rather it being a completely ludicrously stupid remark. The onus is on you to prove that a distinct number of people are leaving the game due to this issue, not on us as we have made no such claim. Such a flawed track of thoughts that must of been inherited by some theist family.
Out of curiosity, what do you call a whining attention seeking brat or do you just simply refer to yourself as an example?
You have serious issues. Seek help.

i have in usa go against the entire levithian alliance IN THE USA VERSION and thats over 100 members per 3 alliances they have like 10-15 sister alliances you've got nothing to talk about

Guys I understand both side, and I can say you are both right but stand for different kind of players which should be both respected by GGS. One of you are heavy buyers/old players and one are small/potential buyers.
Its perfectly clear that you need to be dominant on side of invested time and money, but its also question for players who are here moderate period time and did not freakishly interested in investing so much money to get that edge over other lvl 60 players.
You can have +-5lvl rule and provide person time to recuperate. Where is the point to get in between half dozen attacks daily like I am atm. and when you need 2 whole days just to fix your buildings. To be honest this is one of weakest points of game since it favors wrong goals. You need to give simmilar odds to both sides. Remember 300 or other history stories? Hell, we have in Croatia dozens of simmilar cases in history. Dont get me wrong, but this is one of games where surprises in fights are almost impossible. You have simple math, and that math does not allow you to surprise +20lvl guy. Never. Unless they are to sloppy. Its not realistic. You cannot have here any RPG factor but just try to stay active and build up to get into radar of some big alliance?! This is the key to be great player here?! Rediculous. I can only say in this case - you will never be welcomed in CHESS alliance and Im proud of it. We are under heavy attacks past few weeks without chance to breath but we are here and kicking. Worst part is that there is no way to hit back. Thats why this game is not perfect. You can even say sucks.

Yes, or you can start an alliance which becomes strong. Either way, you pretty much always need an alliance, preferably a strong one.

That only applies to players level 10 or lower I believe.

This is a war game. Attacking together is the point of alliances. You don't like it, don't complain. Because 1 person isn't happy with it, GGS isn't going to change it.
