While collecting taxes & with an army out attacking robber baron castle I was just told I had logged off (which I had not), when trying to log back in it said my account had been suspended until 11.08
(12.08 Forum time) and advised to contact support if I had questions.
Just tried again and managed to log back in, but would like to know why it happened in the first place? These 10-12 min could have been at a critical moment eg while being attacked...

I have logout by game server twice
each time, they return the "Missing Troops" back to me
I suppose they logout your account
becos they need to update something for u
do you check
whether u get your army back or they giv eu some gift ??

You get supsended for a few minutes if you're online for a long time. This is to prevent code users from getting their system to auto collect coins, etc.

Must have been some auto update; my army was still there this time (was worried cos I had troups disappeared before & never returned), no gifts or changes.
I don't think it was because I was logged in for too long, as I had only logged in maybe half hr before. Have often been logged on for much longer & it has never happened before. At the moment it seems to work all right again - fingers crossed!- Thanks again for your help!!

I don't know if it logs you off for code user reasons. I usually do homework and watch TV while doing 10 minute collection, and I can leave the game on for up to 8 consecutive hours. I'll log out at the end of the day and back in to get my day bonus.

i used to NEVER log off but now whenever i put my computer to sleep it logs me off. i guess this is good because i wont get attacked by rober baron castles while i am asleep. it just started logging me off too, before i was on for bout a week straight.

wow this is rather recent, the game logs me off when i put my computer to sleep so i can collect the 30 minute coins, but now it suspends me for 10 minutes the first time, i didnt think much of it and now it suspends me for 20 minutes!!

Your troops will never return unless you tell this to GGS support. You can find the link by going into the game, clicking on help (blue question mark in the top right hand corner) and then support (headphones). You can then write a message to support. Make sure that you tell them the exact number and exact type of troops that went missing, and when they went missing.
"Troops gone at 10pm" is NOT a good message.
"100 troops went missing at 22:00" is NOT a good message.
"100 troops, travelling and renegades, went missing at 22:00" is NOT a good message.
"At 22:00 GMT on 7th October, 100 troops (consisting of 30 travelling knights, 27 travelling crossbowmen, 22 renegade desert bowmen and 21 renegade norsmen bowmen) went missing. They were due to return from an offensive battle against player XYZ in castle ABC." IS a good message.

I put my computer to sleep and when i came back online, I was told my account has been suspended for 10 minutes this is strange? anybody got any answers?

If your too active (And I mean VERY active) then it will suspend you for 10 minutes to prevent bots. Otherwise I don't know what could have happened to you all.

Hey I just figured out the solution.
I guess if you log in/out too many times the server warning bells go off.
Plus each time i would put my computer to sleep and open again my connection would be lost(since putting computer to sleep closes the wifi).
A solution to this problem is go to device manager, open your wifi adapter(under network head) right click and go to properties. In properties go to power managements and unselect "let computer turn off this device for saving power" and voila now you put your computer to sleep and next time you come back you still stay logged in.
Worked for me. Hope it helps others.
