I really didn't understand the envelope thingy beside the thread, sometimes it's closed(not locked) or opened or red or blue or grey. So can anyone tell me what it is??(

When it have a closed envelope it means there are no new posts from the last time you saw the thread, when it is red that means that is a "hot" thread, I could say that it have more popularity or something, for example I've seen a thread pass from blue to red after around 14 replies or 150 views (I think)
