Hi all, I still have 2 days of protection left. I am keen to join an alliance as I am an active Ruby Player and have a history of being on the winning alliance at server end in these types of games.
My question is this. I have applied to join one alliance, messaged 3 of its players and heard nothing at all by way of reply. I have also messaged 2 random players by way of a test and no reply. My thoughts are, either these players are not very active (highly unlikley, the are just ignoring me
or messages dont send until you are out of protection. Which is the answer??

i have no idea why you are not getting a reply. can i suggest that you check-out and post a message on the 'Alliacnce introductions & searches'. Most alliances who are looking for new members post in that section of the forum.

Yeah, as Raythi said, go to alliance intros to look for an alliance. Btw, check your forum inbox...

they just ..do not reply
i do not find a ally within protection
even ...after protection end
eventually ..a few days after protection end
i get 1
but it is a dead ally ..i never meet any members..some member a not online for 48 hours...
eventually..i quit ally
now, i join another ally
occasionly i c some ally member..but not too long
now.....
be patient
this game ..ally member is too few and spread into different timezone
chance to meet ally member is slim
be patient
wait to find some good talkative ally...otherwise...u will get too deep deep boring

Unfortunately, GGS cannot control the minds of their players. Some people think that they're too high and mighty to even talk to low levels. I was once attacked constantly in Everwinter Glacier by a level 60 HEAVY ruby player (I tried to take one of their villages), and while that was fair enough, they refused to reply. I sent them several messages, but I guess that I was too small to have any influence.
In real life, you get homophobic, racist, sexist and otherwise discriminative people. People bully others just because they can. In this game, those people decide to discriminate against low level players, players in small alliances with little power. They refuse to answer to decent and polite messages. But what can anyone do about this? Nothing.
