How do you use the carts to trade with other castles

Click on the castle or outpost you wish to trade with. On the ring (the one with attack, espionage and visit castle), there should be a trade resources button, it looks like a box. Click it, decide amounts and press ok.
You must have free open market barrows to trade.

Jzcool is right, but there really is no way to 'trade' with other players- they may not send anything back to you, so you should make a deal with it.
