I don't think so... Not sure though. I think it recomends names if you enter a name already chosen. I once someone who had the name Eric789, which is earily similiar to Eric768

are you really sure? Capital Is and lowercase ls look exactly the same when you're looking at player names on the world map. Could it be that?

no I's or L's in the name.
Ive tryed spaces too.

As far as I know you cannot have the same username. When I first started playing months back the game did not let me create an account with just my name as it was already in use. Therefore, I had to place an underscore so I would be able to.

You definitely cannot have two players with the same name in the same world. The system will let you know that the name is already taken.
