Topic: [78257] Relocating the Main Castle

When you relocate the main castle (Economy / Management / Relocate) can you pinpoint with the click of the mouse as to exactly where on the map in the Great Empire you want to relocate it to. I want to relocate right next to a fellow alliance member--is that possible? If not, what determines where the main castle gets relocated to?
Also, I heard something about re-conquering your old outpost that I'm not sure about: if you surrender your outpost (to regain a castellan) & then relocate your main castle, can you then re-conquer that same outpost you left behind (which has all the buildings, etc that you built before you surrendered it), & then does it then relocate with you to your new main castle location?
Or, if for some reason you still wanted to send resources back to your old outpost after relocating your main castle, can you still do this or not? If so, does how long it take depend on how far away it is

u cant just click on a random spot on the map. It has to b in a player's ruins. u might have 2 wait a while though. and u cannot send support to/from your main. u cannot send resources to/from your main. but if u have a castle in another place like everwinter glacier u can send troops there. also u cannot attack or b attacked. u cannot recapture ur outpost u surrendered. once u surrender it, in 24 hours it will become a regular outpost. undeveloped. no your outpost does not move with u.

ok well at the moment there r 2 castle ruins nearby--so after 24 hrs i can actually choose which of these 2 nearby ruins to relocate the main castle to--can i just click on 1 of these ruins? OR, does the castle relocate to a random ruin in great empire? If it relocates to a random ruin i don't know if i want to relocate it. (i also can't remember which section N-S-E-W of the great empire i'm in--how do i find out?) And last, if you can pick ur ruin, but let's say someone else grabbed ur ruin during the 24-hr relocate wait, how long can the castle wait for the right ruin--indefinitely?
really sorry for all the nit-pickin questions--i either got to get this relocation exactly right or i can't do it

i'm glad for these questions and their answers because i was thinking of moving my castle as well....

and if i move what happens if i'm in the middle of a quest? should i wait until my armies return, then relocate?

one more thing. jakfox07 was asking if you can move the outposts with you, but my question is can you keep the outpost/s you capture after you move? do you have to surrender it at all??

If you click "relocate" you will see the available places (spots) in the map where you can move your castle.
When you choose the spot you like a countdown of 24 hours starts, after 24h your castle is located in the new place. In this time you can't attack or be attacked, can't send or receive resources. If you move is better to check if you have food for 24h in main castle (you can still send resources from everwinter glacier or burning sands).
When your castle move the outposts stay in their previous location, you still have them and can use them if you want, but if the new location is to far maybe is better to abandon them and take new ones for effectivity reasons.

But whenever i click on a free castle ruins it says expected to free in a amount of time and when it says expected to be free in - i click but it wont let what do i do

all spots where people(players)are close to an empty spot like that OR if it is very crouded like some places in international 1 you can just go in someones ruins

i keep trying to move my castle close to my mom and waiting for ruins to open up but when its free it wont do anything just says zero(

) and then if i reset it a newbie castle took it. how do I get it if the game is sending new castles the second it comes open?

It's a bug Matthew, just take a free spot near the place you want to move, don't take ruins.

i just tried that. every castle outline to pick is in a ruin. I see no empty castle slots.

I have the bug Matthew has. The timer ticks down , when I clik to move it with the relocation rectangle present in the bottom of the map screen it keeps telling me the same message as if it was occupied but theres no error message.. just says it will be free in " -" time and do I want a message like it hasnt updated properly.

So I just clik the ground AROUND the ruins I want to go to?

Update: NOPE THAT DIDNT WORK.

The ground around the castle all I could get was the clik and drag glove or nothing, and the outposts or depositis just showed the castle views of those locations.. backed out to main screen.

There WAS one change. I was clicking away on the castle for some time and it finally changed from giving the free area message to "Error Code 6" for a few minutes then someone else took it.

This is really aggravating. With so many people having this problem (im talking to a few of them in chat) youd think theyd put more resource to these tickets.. ?( maybe its related to the disssapearing army problem too :S

Update: Another question whose answer may help: is there a requirement to satisfy in moving (minimum level / tech / capability)? Do you just have to have the hunter with the option inside? Im level 9 now (approx). Do you need to be able to take outposts first (level 13)?

i have a question!!! i wanted to relocate my main castle.. i already choose where i want to it... i did it last week... and... i only recibe a lot of messages saying that the castle location is occupied and blah blah... and then it says "expect to be free in 2.3 days... it it always says that!! and i think i only lost my rubies for doing that!! though it says its free... but im confused!! can anybody help me please?!
