Topic: [78275] Attacking advice: Is what I'm doing the best way to do it?

So I wanted to tell you all what I’ve been doing and see if it’s a good move. When I have a rough battle I send the first wave all Mace and Crossbow, 2nd and 3rd waves with my better troops, T knights, 2 Swords, heavy cross, ect . I do this so my 1st wave takes most of the damage, plus in an hour I can build , 15 macemen/crossbows for every 5 of the other heavies. Is this a good idea? Is there something else I’m missing?

Also, are swordmen ever worth biulding? I just don't see the point. I get 1 can do the job of a Maceman, Spearman, and Bowman for less food, but I alway have my defenders be Hals, Longs, and Archers. So is their any other point to them im missing??(

Well, if the 1st wave, for example don't kill anyone, the 2nd one will still have to deal with the same soldiers and tools (unless the other player only had 1 of each type of tools), unless it is a RBC sending a martyr wave it is always useful

I've only done it a few times, but the first wave always seems to do ALOT of damage, 1/2 to 2/3 of the defenders killed. I max ladders and Rams on Waves 1 and 2, then glory flags on 3. It's gets me TONS of glory: Racked up a 500+ and two 400+ this week ( I know, but it's alot to me)

I've also only used this agianst mixed armies: Att and Def troops. I've never tried it on a full Def troop group. Would that make a Diff?

Maybe is a good idea but i dont use that because i dont recruit maceman and those week soldier .. only t knights and 2swords with heavy corss.. soo i just send them and not other !

I'm kinda gold heavy. My 30 minute taxes make just under 1000 So I can make 40ish an hour when I'm on, no cost. Biulding the big guns takes SOOO long! I like to do a 2 hour attack, rebiuld the macemen fodder while I'm on, so I can launch agian when they get back. I only make Big Guns while I offline/asleep, so I try to save them.

And T.Knights are SSSOOOOO hard for me to get when they come around, I hate it when they die. I don't know if this game hates me or what, but as soon as the T Knight are at my castle, I cant get Relics to save my life (Re: my Sig) 3 times I've had 1 or 2 pieces to go and couldn't get it in time. Last time they were around, I had 1 to go and couldn't get one in 18 attacks on level 15 RBC and higher!

Part of me kinda thinks Goodgame does it like that on purpose... Sure enough, this last time I saw 15 minutes left on the clock and pulled out my credit card! I love this game they made for us and don't want to think such evil, petty thoughts, but...... Still....

I make 2000 and a little bit more in 30 min but i use only 5 min and get 760
