There are many things that I am trying to learn about the game but "plunder" is the topic right now. I obviously do not understand plunder because I have only been given credit for it once yet I receive rubies, wood, coins etc every time I defeat a Robber Baron. I am sure I am missing something elemental but would dearly love to get better at the game.

There are "Plunder" quests that require you to attack player's castle and not NPC's try checking out what the quest says .
