what is an Espionage please? Do you loot other castles if you do it?

When you espionage someone you get a rough draft of their army......but beware if you spy someone and fail the person you spied will know that you send your spy there. (and no you don't loot their castles with espionage's)

The espionage JJ5542 was talking about is a military espionage.
You can also do an economic espionage to know how many resources someone has.

no you don't loot other castles. It gives you information about what/who is in the castle.You will need this info if you are going to attack

how do you get the economic espionage so i can complete the "you'll never catch me" objective

You have to click on the ninja looking guy that says espionage, and then change the icon by clicking on a bar and military espionage, economic espionage, and sabotage should come up and you click on economic espionage! Hope this helped!
