I have built a marketplace and I want to trade some resources, is this possible? I can't see how to do it anywhere but surely a market can do this?

You can give resources to another player or send them between outposts (if you have an outpost). Click on the castle and click on the crate thing. Then select what you want to send and click the green tick.
There is no official trade feature, however, people do trade resources. Only do this with players in your alliance or players that you trust, though, because there is no guarantee that they will honour their word. Send the player a message and agree on something to swap e.g. 1500 food for 1500 wood. You then send what you are giving them and they send what they are giving you.
