Is there anyway to demote an alliance leader if they "disappear"...?

Clearly we could leave and set-up another alliance but it would be easier to eject and have one of active members take over!

That is happening to my alliance because my leader doesnt do anything at all and doesnt talk to anyone

There's nothing you can do. Either you have to wait until your leader goes into ruins (his level +1 day) or find a new alliance.

It happens quite regularly.
